SanDisk, a storage giant, announced a $1.35 billion acquisition of all shares in m-systems, an Israeli storage technology company that makes flash memory products. It was one of SanDisk's main competitors before it was acquired. SanDisk said that after the merger, the two companies will achieve complementary advantages to achieve a larger market share in NAND flash memory.
