In 1998, Wesch acquired temic's semiconductor business group of temic, which includes 80.4% shares of Telefunken company and silicon IX company, which mainly produce transistors, diodes, optoelectronic devices, power supply and analog switch integrated circuits. Wesch then sold its stake in Lite on, mainly to better focus on the successful businesses of silicon IX and Telefunken.
