Founded in September 1981, Verizon innovative architecture (via) is mainly engaged in the development and design of peripheral chipsets related to PC system, commissioned wafer foundry manufacturing, and then sold globally under its own brand. At present, there are more than 700 employees. The company has offices in Hong Kong and Mainland China. In 1999, Cyrix and IDT CPU companies were acquired, and integrated chipsets were jointly developed with S3. Weisheng electronic aims to achieve an annual turnover of more than US $1 billion by 2003, and the global market share of chipsets will reach 50%.
