On April 30, 2008, Austin, Texas - Freescale Semiconductor, the world's leading embedded semiconductor product design and manufacturing company, completed the acquisition of sigma Tel Co., Ltd. at a price of $3 per share of sigma Tel's current shares, with a total price of about $110 million in cash.
